Deleyaman is a euro-american band impossible to classify into a single
genre. Their unique and enigmatic sound and their divers musical influences
ranging from world, cold-wave, folk to ambient post-rock, allow them to
create an inspiring music which is as profound as it is universal. Deleyaman
is the first alternative band to have included the ancient armenian wind
instrument called the duduk in their line-up and compositions.
The band's discography is impressive and growing strong with six full-length
albums. They've released their series of 00/1, Second, 3, Fourth part one &
Fourth part two albums before breaking the numeric mold and releasing The
Edge on July 4, 2014 which is distributed in the Benelux by Sonic
Rendezvous.
Along with all of these albums, the band has managed to pull together a few
tours mainly in the west coast of the United States, in Europe and in
Armenia.
They have also just signed with the dutch booking agency Paperclip who will
be booking the band's tours in Europe.
With their latest album The Edge, they continue the transition in styles
growing in various ways.
They will be at Art Base in Brussels on Saturday October 11, 2014 to perform
songs from their brand new album.
