Description
| Quinteto Astor is a creation of five musicians from different backgrounds( classical music, jazz, blues, rock). The quintet plays a large repertoire of old and new tango melodies, from Roberto Firpo to Astor Piazzolla and Horacio Salgan. Using their different backgrounds and instruments, Quinteto Astor presents an authentic tango sound, while giving it a taste of their own. Thus, accordeon and bandoneon are used alternately, and the guitar changes from acoustic to jazz and back. The group has published one CD called 'Lugar del Tango'.
