Event
DescriptionAfter discovering those monumental clarinet trios in our season-opening in September, Brussels Muzieque would like to give you some more taste of this instrument of such a deep personality and dark soothing sound.
Daniel Mourek, solo clarinet of Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen, will present the two most important clarinet quintets, which in their turn belong also to the most canonic pieces ever composed for chamber music: Mozart's and Brahms's clarinet quintets. Having a clarinet sharing the stage with a whole string quartet will give you the impression of practically witnessing a symphonic performance for the mass and richness of sound which surrounds the listener. Joining Daniel on stage, we welcome our newest music partner Noémy Tiercet - principal of 2nd violins of Opéra La Monnaie De Munt, and our veterans: the violinist Maeva Laroque - 2nd soloist in the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, Monika Mlynarczyk - co-principal viola at Opéra La Monnaie De Munt and the cellist Eduardo Tonietto - guest musician at Brussels Philharmonic.
