Description

Bulgarian born pianist Avguste Antonov has spent the last 20 years in the United States and is residing in France since April 2019. He is a dedicated performer of 20th and 21st century music, including American living composers.

Avguste Antonov has performed recitals all over the  United States, including in Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee . He has been featured as soloist with many ensembles including the San Jose State University Wind Symphony, the San Jose Wind Symphony, the University City Symphony, the Alton Symphony Orchestra, the Tulsa Camerata, the Lakeland Community Orchestra, the Jewish Community Orchestra-Portland and the South Kansas Symphony.  Concertos performed include Schumann Piano Concerto, Rachmaninoff 2nd, McDowell 2nd, Liszt 2nd, Ravel in G, Gershwin in F,  Gershwin "Rhapsody in Blue", Carter Pann "Concerto Logic" and Matthew Saunders "Piano Concerto".

The concert at Art Base will be the artist 2nd concert in Bruxelles and will feature American composers. The program will take listeners on a journey from Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue to the rock star Billy Joel.
