DescriptionJavier Penalver is a spanish pianist. Born in Murcia (Spain) He started piano at 10 in his city and continued in Grenade and in Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he got a bachelor certificate in 2004.
He has an intensive activity as a soloist, in chamber music ensembles (such a four hands and two pianos duet with his wife Eve Beroux) and accompanist, and played usually recitals around Spain, France and Belgium. He suggests you in this concert a musical trip in his country to discover some of the most well-knew composers, as Albéniz, Granados, and Falla. He will play Iberia and its evocative power, Goyescas and its extreme refinement , or Witched Love and its misteryous spells. He will present also some original pages from one of the most productive composers for piano in Spain, Joaquin Turina, who describes some types of spanish women, mixed flirty, dreamy, elegant and passioned portraits. http://penalver-beroux.com/ EventList powered by schlu.net |
