Barbara and Szymon’s friendship, as well as their relationship to music, matured over a decade of collaboration in creating and performing music for contemporary dance (Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Maria Pages, David Dawson) and autonomous projects (Bienalle Ars Polonia PL, Sounds New Contemporary Music Festival in Canterbury UK and Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter Festival DK ).       This intimate concert tells the essential story of their journey. A collection of piano pieces composed along the years, each of them a universe of their own. The listener will be immersed in a variable palette of colours, moods, and styles – oscillating between melodic minimalism and abstract contrasts. The programme gathers both music created for performing arts, and new independent creations performed for the first time in concert.
