Meltem Trio blends the sounds of Asia Minor, Eastern Mediterranean and their original compositions.
 
The trio consists of Michalis Kouloumis (violin), Alexandros Papadimitrakis (oud, lavta) and Ruven Ruppik (riq, frame drums, darbuka).
 
For the first time in Brussels, they will perform Middle Eastern masterpieces, Smyrna Rebetiko, Taksims, Greek and Turkish songs.
 
All this together with the singer Çiğdem Aslan, who has just launched her well-appreciated album, “Mortissa”.
