Tridhara Trio met for the first time in Switzerland where it performed at the European Union for Yoga last year. Its performance is based on a musical conversation between the virtuous and hypnotizing play of Rajib Karmakar and the magic and sensitive sound of the bansuri( bambooflute) performed by Julia Ohrmann.
With his savant accompaniment on Tabla, Tristan Auvray completes the complicity of the trio.

Rajib Karmakar Rajib Karmakar is an instrumentalist with a unique musical sense, innovative skill and a very light touch.
His concerts are always marked by their aesthetic appeal and improvisation, blended with a fine command of technical expertise.
At his concerts, he can immediately mesmerize audiences of all ages.
He is an M.A. ( Music) 1st class 1st from Rabindra Bharati University and was awarded title "SURMANI" by Sur Singar Samsad, Mumbai in the year 2010.

Julia Ohrmann finished her masterstudies at CODARTS, Rotterdam, and gave television performances for VPRO and BBC etc. In Switzerland she met Rajib Karmakar, one of the key talents on sitar from India. He learnt the sitar technique from his father and was trained in classical vocal music by his father in law. He was awarded many times internationally and published 4 CD's.

Also Tristan Aubray from France is from a musical family. He has been playing from a very young age and mixing classical western music with jazz and sounds from India and Africa.
