ASAD QIZILBASH is the only recognized maestro in Pakistan on the sarode, the Indian fretless lute. He started playing the violin at the age of eight, and changed to the sarode as soon as he discovered this instrument. He has performed on many festivals in Pakistan and abroad, and has given numerous concerts on TV, radio and much more. He is a spiritual son of Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, to whom he owes much inspiration for his musical style.
