Description

Renato Martins met the Belgian guitarist Boris Gaquere in Brussels in 2004. They decided to team up and create the Boris Gaquere & Renato Martins Duo. They released in Belgium the album 'Tempo Feliz' in 2006 and have played at important venues in Belgium, Switzerland, France, Poland, Czech Republic, Spain, Brazil, Argentina and Taiwan. TEMPO FELIZ consecrates this union. They meet in perfect harmony and emphasize the bond they share between virtuosity and swing of the Brazilian rhythms. Their repertoire, in addition to their own compositions, contains a number of Brazilian pieces by guitarists and composers of renown. The set is a musical festival of instrumental rhythms and colours.
