Margot Palomino is an Andean folk music singer from Peru's Moquegua province.
Palomino specializes in genres such as huayno, muliza, yaraví, or trova andina, and her repertory includes works by the likes of Mariano Melgar or José María Arguedas.
She is often accompanied by notable guitarists such as Manuelcha Prado, Julio Humala, or David Rivera.
Considered one of her generation's finest folk singers, Palomino has brought the music and culture of her region to festivals and stages around the world.
Her discography includes titles such as Trilce, Ischu, Waylluytaki, and Lucero.
Karl Struyf is a charango player and composer of Peruvian-Belgian origin based in Brussels. Born in Belgium, he spent part of his childhood in Ayacucho (Peru). Later in Lima he studied systematically the traditional Andean music and the styles typical of the Peruvian charango
After his participation in the International Festival of Charango-Cusco (2011) and after giving concerts in different Peruvian cities, he has performed in Brussels, Helsinki, Paris, Berlin, Cologne and outside Europe, in Moscow and Baku.
He has recorded two solo charango albums, 'charango solo' (2012) and Apuntes para charango (2019).
