With the musical influences of artists such as Crosby, Nash, Stills & Young, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, ... Philippe Bruno brought us his first album ("Madras Lovers"-2015), which is tinged with emotions and which takes us into his world. He then composed a second album ("Somewhere Old Somewhere Young" - 2017) which is in a way the continuation of the first one, including only new and original compositions.
With "A Long Way to Go" (Dec.2019), Philippe has come up with a very personal and authentic third album.  Through ten songs with deep, catchy pop-folk melodies, we are immersed in his delightful world of acoustic guitars.  The songs are from different periods: the first five songs were selected from very old tapes, composed and written between 1978 and 1982, while the next five songs are new compositions.  Philippe shares with us some of the most memorable chapters in his life: decisive encounters and experiences, the loss of a childhood friend who left too soon, his disappointments, his hopes, his search for Love.
"50 Years Ago"(Dec.2021) is once again the logical continuation of the previous album, bringing together four very old songs, rediscovered on those same old tapes, and five new compositions, which form a coherent whole evoking the journey made over the last 50 years, crossing different periods of life, sentimental or other.  The song "50 Years Ago" describes very simply the state of mind and the exact moment when it all started for Philippe.

C’est avec les influences musicales d’artistes comme Crosby, Nash, Stills & Young, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, … que Philippe Bruno nous fait découvrir son premier album ("Madras Lovers" - 2015) teinté d’émotions, qui nous invite au voyage et au partage. Dans la foulée, il compose un deuxième album ("Somewhere Old Somewhere Young" - 2017) qui est en quelque sorte la suite du premier, incluant exclusivement des nouvelles compositions originales.
Avec "A Long Way to Go" (Déc.2019), Philippe nous livre un troisième album très personnel et authentique. Au travers de dix chansons aux mélodies pop folk profondes, entraînantes, il nous plonge dans son délicieux univers de guitares acoustiques.  Il s'agit de chansons d'époques différentes : les cinq premières ont été puisées sur de très anciennes bandes magnétiques, composées et écrites entre 1978 et 1982, alors que les cinq suivantes sont des nouvelles compositions. Il y raconte en filigrane des tranches de vie marquantes : des rencontres et des expériences décisives, la perte d'un ami d'enfance trop tôt parti, ses déceptions, ses espoirs, sa quête de l'Amour.
"50 Years Ago" (Déc.2021) est encore une fois la suite logique de l’album précédent, réunissant quatre très anciennes chansons, redécouvertes sur ces fameuses vieilles bandes magnétiques, ainsi que cinq nouvelles compositions, mais qui créent un ensemble cohérent évoquant le chemin parcouru depuis 50 ans, traversant différentes époques, sentimentales ou autres, de la vie.  La chanson "50 Years Ago" décrit très simplement l’état d’esprit et l’exact moment où tout a commencé pour Philippe.
