AMÔN QUARTET plays Mozart, Janacek, Mendelssohn

Description

AMÔN QUARTET plays Mozart, quatuor K. 589 & Janacek, quatuor n°1 'Sonate à Kreutzer', Mendelssohn, Capriccio op. 81.

Born of the meeting of four fascinated musicians, wishing to pass on, to share and to communicate their taste of the music, the Amôn quartet was formed in 2007 to the Royal Academy of Brussels in the class of Guy Danel. In September 2008, the Amôn quartet  joins the training ProQuartet-CEMC in Paris, what allows him to receive in particular the advice of Louis Fima and Paul Katz. They work regularly since 2007 with the Danel quartet. The quartet was selected for one Master's degree class with Hatto Beyerlé within the framework of the festival “Quatuors à cordes en pays de Fayence”. The Amôn quartet is in residence in the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and so follows the Master's degrees-classes of the Artemis quartet.

In July, 2008, they occurred to Festival de Saintes accompanied with the Soprano Maïlys de Villoutreys. In August, 2008 the quartet followed the Master's degrees-classes proposed by the Danel quartet - in the “Abbaye du Pin” to Béruges ( France,Poitou) - who invited him to the festival " Concerts en nos  villages " for a series of concerts. The quartet also participated in the 8th festival of "Claviers en Poitou" in the Castle of Crémault. Since the year 2009 the Amôn quartet occurs regularly in Belgium and in France.

During year 2010 the quartet Amôn occured in numerous festivals, in particular for a series of concerts in the festival "Concerts en Abbayes Normandes" and to the festival of Proquartet  “Promenades musicales en Seine et Marne”.

Since its creation the Amôn quartet puts a lot particularly into projects involving music with the other arts as the theater or the poetry. So they occurred with the comedian Ivan Golovin in a show around the music and around the Russian poetry in the XXè century. According to the programs, the Amôn quartet joins to the other musicians, the singers, the pianists...
