Drossia Bouras' artistic approach is abstraction.
Having travelled all over the world and especially in Africa and Greece where she lived for a while, she’s inspired by many cultures.
Therefore, colors have been the obvious way to sensations and emotions.
Handing a float, Drossia spreads the colors on the canvas, smooths them, scrapes them, streaks them… and suddenly a light appears,
a fleeting shadow, a dreamed landscape.
But also enigmatic compositions, splashes of various colors, intense movements which describe emotional states, they all make reality turn more intense, stranger, denser. In a word..more poetic!
