DescriptionDedicated to David Sylvian (album published 2019 by Dodicilune Records, Italy) Serena Spedicato, vocals Nicola Andrioli, piano, original arrangements "The Shining of Things. Dedicated to David Sylvian" is the new recording project signed by vocalist Serena Spedicato and pianist Nicola Andrioli. Born from the desire to interpret and develop a songbook of the most important cameos of the vast artistic production of David Sylvian, musician, composer and writer of experimental, intimate and sophisticated music. Mixed with jazz from the minimal to the most cultured, and with cutting-edge rock. An extraordinary vocalist with an original, impeccable timbre, warm and deep, at times almost intangible and floating through the air. The interweaving of dialect and creativity of the record is entrusted to the elegant voice of Italian singer Serena Spedicato, to the skilled and refined piano-playing of Nicola Andrioli, originally from Italy but living in Belgium since many years, and is also the writer of the original arrangements written specifically for this production. And, on the CD, to the sought-after Scandinavian trumpeter Kalevi Louhivuori and to the profound, poetic depth of percussionist Michele Rabbia." https://www.dodiciluneshop.it/dettagli.asp?sid=90219208720190810153521&idp=296&categoria= http://www.ijm.it/component/music/display/833 http://www.serenaspedicato.com/ https://andriol.wixsite.com/nicolaandrioli https://www.deezer.com/album/101875132?utm_source=deezer&utm_content=album-101875132&utm_term=10915702_1565444299&utm_medium=web https://open.spotify.com/album/4YekGn8UUlANHBNUXRzkpd https://music.apple.com/it/album/the-shining-of-things-dedicated-to-david-sylvan/1470807609 "REGIONE PUGLIA – FSC 2014/2020 – Patto per la Puglia - Investiamo nel vostro futuro"
