O Clube do Choro de Bruxelas regularly invites Brazilian and international musicians for masterclasses and concerts, to share this wonderful instrumental music that is Choro, and all the other music related to it.

This time we will welcome Nilson Moreira, brasilian flutist! The musicians from the Clube do Coro are Sylvain Boisvert (flutes), Rui Salgado (guitar), Falk Schrauwen (pander) and Everton Rodrigues (bass).

Nilton Moreira is a Brazilian flutist. He represents the new generation of flutists emerging in the South American musical community.

His career is highlighted by the interaction between Popular and Classical music, playing Brazilian popular genres like Choro, Baião, Samba, Bossa- Nova, Maxixe, in the Brazilian popular scene and also playing at Symphonic Orchestras. Nilton is Ph.D. in Musical Performance.

Nilton participated in many festivals of music, among them, the NFA Convention (Charlotte - USA, 2012), AFE (Sevilla – Spain, 2014), James Galway Festival (Weggis – Switzerland), Curitiba Music Festival (Brazil, 2003). Nilton is also a founding member of Club du Choro de Montréal (Canadá). Currently, Nilton is the Flute professor of the Juiz de Fora Federal University (UFJF) in Brazil.
