The Clave Duo band was born in 1991, in Granada, formed by the sweet and
sensible voice of Deborah Crivellare and the classic and subtle guitar of
Gaetan de Backer.

Deborah was born in Pernambuco and grow in a artistic ambience. She
started her musical studies at 17, mainly to support dance and folklore
music from north-west. She song, for example, in the “Trio Pernambuco”
with
Israel De França or with the quartet “Saudade do Brasil”.
Gaetan de Backer was born in Belgium ans started his musical studies in
the classic world, with the classic guitar. He plays also Jazz, is a
musical producer and plays bass guitar. He envelopes Deborah's voice
with his harmonies and its rhythmic accents.
The duo played all along Andalucia in the 90's, in more then 500 concerts,
they participated in several musical festivals such as “Jazz en la Costa”,
theater, musicals,... and several musical activities.
After 20 years the duo starts again playing together, following its more
sweet and sensible form; the repertoire vary from Brazilian standards and
latin music – Bossa-Nova, boleros – to Brazilian north-western music.
