Les Roses Duo was born 4 years ago when for a fortunate case the two musicians met each other in order to play the Debussy’s cello sonata for a concert. Since that moment they started work together in more and more concerts and occasion, specializing in contemporary music, like Shostakovich and Prokofiev.
Angelika Zolcsák, Hungarian cellist, came to Belgium to study at the Luca School of Art Campus Lemmensinstituut in Leuven. She obtained the degree of master in cello performing and master in chamber music. Angelika Zolcsák won first and second prizes on the violoncello of region in 1997, 1998 and in 2000. Now, she plays in Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra and the member of the Classical Concert Chamber Orchestra, Arpeggio Chamber Orchestra and Hans Zimmer live on tour orchestra. She gives solo and chamber music concert in Belgium and Hungary.
Eleonora Centa, is a pianist, and a piano and music teacher. Born in Italy, she studied with renowned teachers: Alexander Lonquich, Sandro De Palma, Sébastien Risler, Giorgio Lovato, Filippo Gamba, Daniel Rivera, the Maestro Riccardo Risaliti teaching at the AccademiaPianistica at Imola and Aldo Ciccolini. For three years running, she won different competition and Scolarship and actually she is making concerts both as soloist and in chamber music groups in Italy and different countries of Europe. She also works as accompanier for exams and competitions, including the International Competition of Treviso and she performs voluntarily as a soloist in music projects for charity. In 2015 her first CD, Piano Solo, has been published; in it she plays pieces from different composers through the centuries as soloist.
