Kaos Quartet is a young international string quartet featuring

Clara Evens (violin, Belgium),
Lotta Harju (violin, Finland),
Amalija Kokeza (viola, Croatia) and
Shuya Tanaka (cello, Japan).

The quartet captured its name from the location of their first concert and also refers to the Chaos of Greek Mythology –
the gaping emptiness from which everything is created.

In May of 2017 they attended a masterclass with the Pražák Quartet (Josef Kluson and Václav Remeš) in Brussels and played at the Festival Resonances (Ciney, Belgium) where they've had a lesson with Michael Gurevich from the London Haydn Quartet. Currently they study at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels with Eric Robberecht (Ensor String Quartet).
