Ultrafaux is the only 100 percent original gypsy jazz trio based in the United States. Ultrafaux has performed top festivals Django-a-gogo, Django By The Sea, Charm City Django Jazzfest, and Midwest Gypsy Swingfest, now they are touring Europe to play Festival Django Reinhardt in Fontainebleau. Michael Joseph Harris, U.S. based guitarist and composer for Ultrafaux, met Renaud Dardenne and Alexandre Tripodi last year while attending Django In June, a yearly music camp in Massachusetts. Now they meet again to play Harris' original gypsy swing and also some favorites from the Django Reinhardt repertoire.
