Terramadonna is Valeria Cimo’s third album. A trilogy wich roots in the first disc "Sugnari", then searches the dreams of the collective mind in "Minds", which is a monograph on the duality and reason-emotion dialectics as a Western tendency. The third CD Terramadonna stems from a maternal impulse by which we endure the lack of respect for the body of the earth..it means we do not respect the woman, and consequently, even man. This is why Valeria focuses on the passion and the emotions that create light projections into the cave, instead of a cult, that would require continuous purges of religious illusions accustomed to project deity external to us. Valeria Cimo wants to respect the stream that runs events, maturation, stages, changes, all due to the inalienable natural connection between humans and other species. Romina Denaro has performed at numerous festivals, exhibitions and tours in Italy and abroad in orchestras and chamber with Glen Velez, Enzo Rao, Riadh Fehri, Pedro Eustache, Mouna Amari etc. CD and DVD: the soundtrack of the documentary film "Ninnaro" Vincenzo Pirrotta, "The Pastoral Care of Nardo, sacred drama and village festival in Sicily" and with the Accademia Musicale Siciliana, "Le Juste du Liban”. Currently concert activity alongside the teaching and the definition of its new project "Nuevo Tango”. “Valeria Cimò is a marvelous fusion of traditional Sicilian themes of love and death with a brilliant contemporary sophistication of poetic sensibility that roots every line of her works in a deeply penetrating sonority. Sound is the absolute ground of her poetry.” Jack Hirschman Emeritus 4th Poet Laureate of the City of San Francisco
