UNDINE'S UNTOLD STORY Music for flute and piano: Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, Reinecke, Sancan, ...

Description

‘Very beautiful story telling evoking a variety of emotions, the audience could totally submerge itself in the story ...This concert has made a profound impression on me… The artists created a sort of ''magic” or ''poetry” with the audience ...The ending formed a beautfiul climax, the audience once again was surprised by the music a flute can conjure … I have sincerely enjoyed the concert and it has truly relaxed me..’

‘Very pleasant and diversified ... The artist put a lot of feeling in everything: in the music, story and performance ... The story and music were very powerful and convincing ... I find the alternation between soft and more active, dramatic music very beautiful ... I didn't realize that flute music could have so many varied aspects..’

This is how the audience reviewed ''Pan's Untold Story”: a concert in a form of a story with pieces for flute and piano performed by Inez Popko and Agnieszka Zywert in Art Base in April 2016. Motivated by the enthusiastic response from her audience, Inez Popko returns to Art Base with another musical story, this time inspired by the mysterious character of Undine, a water nymph in love ready to sacrifice everything to obtain something human: an immortal soul...
An excellent pianist Nadejda Tzanova will join Inez for their last concert in Brussels before their 2016 tour in China.
The artists will perform pieces by Chopin, Rachmaninoff,
Liszt, Reinecke, Sancan and Jolivet.
