Pandit Udhav Apegaonkar Shinde (pakhawaj) is the son of the legendary Padmashree Bapu Apegaonkar. He is one of very few artists in the world to have mastered this ancient instrument. He is much applauded for his solo work as well as accompanying the greatest drupad masters.
Sitar player Bert Cornelis is an institute of Indian music in Belgium. He followed a life-long Guru-Sisha training with the famous sitar master Pandit Ashok Pathak.
Last year, Udhav Shinde invited Bert Cornelis to Maharastra in India for a series of concerts. During this tour they played in the unique combination of sitar and pakhawaj. One concert was attended by 15 thousand spectators and relayed from Mumbai by Indian national media and television.

They now present their jugalbandi( Indian classical music duet) in Art Base, Brussels.
