Art Base

Art Base is pleased to announce an introductory course to drawing with the instruction of visual artist Fumihiro Ueoka.
The participants will learn the basic and most important skills for drawing and discover the meditating world of this medium, which is always an inward journey of the self.
The course aims at the improvement of concentration of both beginners and advanced students.

Fumihiro Ueoka has studied Japanese traditional painting in the “Nara College of Art” in Kashihara, Nara, Japan (2002) after graduating from the art secondary school at the “Tobe bunko” in Tobe, Ehime (2000) and has received several advanced training courses in drawing.
He was selected favorite artist of the “Parcours d’artistes” in Saint-Gilles, 2014 edition and has been an award winner of the “National Culture Festival” in Fukui, Japan in 2005.
His work entitled “82 years” was selected for the permanent collection of the Sado Museum in Japan in 2006.

Participation fee: 30 euro per session, minimum 3 participants.
The course will be held in English.
