Their repertoire ranges from early rebetika songs of the 30s and pieces by Asia Minor composers to classical rebetika songs of the 40s and 50s and early popular songs (laika) of the 60s. The songs are performed and interpreted with great respect for the original versions, but also with a fresh approach to achieve the highest possible liveliness and efficacy in their communication to the public. “Pringkipessa” has often played with renowned artists such as El. Tsaligopoulou, G. Nega, M. Lidakis, G. Margaritis, also with the contribution of their regular collaborators N. Ordoulidi (piano), M. Tsaligopoulou (double bass) and D. Tsiolcha (accordion).
