Les oiseaux du Sablon started out as a close harmony project by four singers of the Brussels Conservatory. They perform personal arrangements of well-known standards and classical pieces such as “Blue Moon”, the “Ave Maria” by Villalobos and the “Piano Concerto in G major” by Ravel. The luscious vocal harmonies and blend of their voices gave them wings and so they decided to climb higher and become Lezuaso.
For this “reincarnated” new project, which is based on original compositions, they invite a guitarist and live electronics. The vocal harmonies are uplifted by improvisation and electronics. Truthful lyrics create a contrast between the dreamy, yet imminent style of the group. Sounds from the sea and up to the clouds. Heavenly harmonies flirt with flashing beats! At Art base both projects bring the best of their repertoire.
