L’ECLUSE arises from the union of Karl Espegard, Pablo Murgier and Ariel Eberstein, three musicians with vast experience who live in Norway, Belgium and France who bring new creations with a new and current language through a chamber music treatment.

L’ECLUSE puts virtuosity at the service of musicality, seeking to create a mixture of classical music with the Latin American tradition as a starting point towards other cultures. Firmly rooted in the melody and melancholy of the South American idiosyncrasy, the hypnotic sound of this trio is brought to life by the unlikely meeting of two Argentine musicians and a Norwegian. This group, with its new compositions by Pablo Murgier, evolves towards a type of music where "world music" and "academic music" become one.

The language of the trio L’ECLUSE merges all these elements but does not seek a clear linearity with any genre, inviting the listener to choose the order of the elements, seeking balance and thus being able to create their own universe. Pablo Murgier (ARG/AT) – piano and composition

Reference of the new generation of Argentine musicians. His Ensemble was awarded the "Best Tango Orchestra" award in 2017 and his first solo album MUY LEJOS was nominated for the GARDEL AWARDS in 2018.



Ariel Eberstein (ARG/BE) - double bass

Double bassist, producer and disseminator specialized in the avant-garde tango repertoire. Thanks to his SONICO project, he has become one of the specialists in this genre by revising it through the recovery of the work of the Argentine composer Eduardo Rovira.



Karl Espegard (NO) – violin

Karl Espegard is a violinist and founding member of the acclaimed group El Muro Tango. He has performed in prestigious concert halls such as the Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Moscow International House of Music and Konzerthaus München.
