Akram Ben Romdhane began to study the violin and the oud in his native country, in the classes of Rachid Koubaa and Bachir El Gharbi, at the Higher Institute of Music in Tunis. In particular, he obtained the Diploma in Arabic music, the Diploma in oud and a Bachelor's degree in violin and musicology. He also taught the oud and the violin at the National Conservatory of Tunis. His desire to perfect his art pushes him to travel and discover other musical approaches. He thus studied in the class of Thierry Huchin, at the Regional Conservatory of Créteil, to then obtain his DEM in violin. Afterwards, Akram will follow master classes with Alexis Galperine, Anna Haas, David Alberman and Dong-Suk Kang. He completed his specialized master's degree in violin in the class of Véronique Bogaerts, at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in 2019. His desire to link instrumental practice to rigorous scientific research enabled him to join the Sorbonne Paris IV University, where he obtained a Master's degree in musicology.
