DescriptionCome and experience Bach’s iconic and monumental Goldberg Variations – a journey from a simple Aria, through 30 variations expressing the full spectrum of human emotion, returning once again to beautiful simplicity. An unforgettable masterpiece played in the string trio version. Not to be missed! Violinist Sadie Fields and cellist Romain Dhainaut, founders of Trio Khnopff (BBC ChamberDisc of the Month, January 2020), first performed with Clement Holvoet (viola - Urban PianoQuartet) at Festival Contrastes in 2014, and since then have performed regularly together, both as a string trio and in a variety of other formations. Active and accomplished chamber musicians, all three perform throughout Europe and further afield, and have made numerous award-winning recordings. Winners of over 30 major awards between them, their individual repertoires, and interests are diverse, but together they share a great love of chamber music.
