Description
| Musically, the tango has always been mostly performed by male musicians, but this has now changed, as is proven by 'Cantango', a group around singer Silvia Abalos. 'Cantango' consists of four fascinating female musicians who make a serious go to take over the male tango bastion. They are all inspired and universal artists, and play their music with much professionalism, while displaying jazzy and more influences in the vocal techniques of singer Silvia Abalos, the renowned Mexican singer with a smooth and powerful voice. The musicians Silvia Abalos- vocals and presentation, Catherine Smet- piano and musical direction, Vania Batchvarova - violin, Katrien Bos- double base. |
