Description
TAI is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, actress and poet based in Spain. Her music mixes soul with Brazilian and Latin rhythms like samba, sambareggae and urban music, resulting in a fresh and modern sound. Her artistic career began during her teens in Bahia, when she acted in theater groups and took part in various musical projects. After a long musical experience in her home country, TAI moved to Spain and launched her solo career, developing a very productive musical journey. She took part in various festivals and recorded her first album "Algo así" in Barcelona and then appeared in the film "La carta esférica" (Sony Pictures, Spain), starring Aitana Sánchez-Gijón and Carmelo Gómez. In the film, TAI interprets the song that gives its title to the album. In addition to her musical activity, TAI published in 2014 her first book of poetry, "Algures / En algún lugar" (Spanish-Portuguese bilingual edition), presenting a theatrical-performance for her poems. Currently, TAI is producing a new EP in Belgium, with the producer and DJ Jan G. "Maravilla" is the first song of this new EP and it´s available on all digital platforms. Enjoy it, and stay tuned for more news!
