Description

Andrea Eletti has been traveling around the sounds of tango for years and has managed to reap great achievements in that musical genre. Her performances are accompanied by a marked expressiveness. Andrea searches a tango repertoire of great authors. The proposal is always to keep intact the essence of tango while providing a fresh glimpse of this musical genre with her own style, both in the interpretation as the arrangements. On this search, she supports herself with various instrumental groups: Piano and voice; piano, accordion and vocals; quintet…among others. Highly versatile Andrea's voice brings to life memorable tangos, addressing a repertoire of great authors of all times. Accompanied by talented musicians, she establishes a profound dialogue, which results in this musical proposal with pianist Juan Carlos Carrasco “H”.
 
Juan Carlos Carrasco "H", along with Ciro Perez and Walter Ríos, were part of the initiators of the famous "Trottoirs de BsAs" of the 1980s in Paris, shared stages with Amelita Baltard, Susana Rinaldi, Eladia Blasquez among others. The “Carrasco H. Quartet” is one of major references that gave a Renaissance to tango in Europe.
Carrasco H. is recognized also as arranger and composer, invited repeatedly by the Orchestre De Paris.
 
Together they present a small tour of poets and composers from different periods, marking the passage of time and tango, identity, feelings that touch us rereading the past from the present.
