PARIS-BUENOS AIRES: HISTOIRE D’AMOUR- Maria Martinova-Piano & Cyril Garac-Violin

Description

Two musicians-two of the strongest personalities on the music scene today-will take you on a passionate and irresistible journey around the aesthetics of French musical impressionism and Argentinean tango.
The Bulgarian pianist Maria Martinova-one of the most talked about names on the contemporary Tango scene, founder and leader of the celebrated ensemble TANGUARDA is joined by one of the finest musicians France has produced-the violinists Cyril Garac, regarded as the top tango violinist of Europe.
These two musicians, who have collaborated with such artists as Alexander Toradze, Marcelo Nisinman, Renaud Capucon, Julia Migenes, Ute Lemper, Gustavo Beytelmann, Henri Demarquette, Joseph Silverstein and many others, invite you to a pre-release preview of their highly-anticipated recording “Paris-Buenos Aires, une histoire d’amour”.
The exquisite program includes works by Debussy, Beytelmann, Teruggi, Piazzolla, Zarate and others.
In this spectacular project the duo breaks down boundaries and takes classical music away from the self-imposed limits of the genre,
bringing it to its real roots-popular music-through the prisms of Tango, contemporary music and jazz.
Not to be missed!
