Asami Orihara - viola da gamba Yiannis Efstathopoulos – lute The early music ensemble Les Alchimistes was created from the necessity to do a musical laboratory to research the theory and practice of the art of improvisation in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. As well to explore the art of singing through an instrument - the recorder, the viola da gamba and the lute. The Historically Informed Practice is the base, supported by many treatises and the exploration of sounds, diminutions, improvisations in different styles together with freedom and the infinite search of the best and most beautiful sound – it is really a laboratory, an alchemical laboratory, where we can mix styles, sounds and find something new, special and peculiar. https:/www.facebook.com/pages/Les-Alchimistes/243329109173309? fref=ts EventList powered by schlu.net |
